Preview attachments in lower pane?

Does anyone know how to preview attachments the lower
pane in Outlook like you can do in Outlook express? I
find it very frustrating having to open each attachment
individually with photos for example.

Outlook is an entirely different program from OE, and it won't show you
attached images within the body of the message, sorry.

Just to add to that then only time it will show them is if
the message has been sent through in HTML format, then it
will embed the image into the message.

.....only if the sender has done that. You can attach files and use HTML and
they won't show up inline - you'd have to embed them in the message itself.
