Prevent/Disable PST Password

Hi,

At my organization we are migrating to Exchange/Outlook. Mail archives will be migrated to PST files and stored in the client computers.

We're looking for a way to disable/prevent the PST password protection so users won't be able to set a password. Is this possible? Is it applyable through a group policy?

I've checked the ADM settings but no luck.

I don't think there is a way to do this, although I've never even run into the question before. I can say this, in that my extensive experience with Outlook and working with PSTs, I've only seen a user password protect a PST once or twice in thousands of users. I have seen some companies that have the ability to work with PSTs at all disabled, though I couldn't tell you how to do that.
