presenter view video

With Powerpoint 2003, when a video starts on mine, the
presenter view goes to a full screen movie that hides the
notes, etc. Any way to keep the movie in the same
presenter view field where the other slides show?

George,

I found this posting from a "Terry King" in August 2004.

Some video drivers seem to have an automatic "bigger is
better" function that behaves as you describe.

I've read that some drivers have the option to shut this
dubious feature off.

A fix that has worked for me is:

1) hook up the external display

2) change the video driver settings so the external
display is the "primary" display

this fix may introduce some undesirable side effects like
dual display using outline view on laptop display and
normal view on external display would be reversed.
