Pre-release version - Time limit ?

I got a pre-release version of Windows Vista at a MS' promotional event.
I noticed there is no display of a beta version and looks very much like
final version. I wonder if this version has any time limit as is usually
the case with beta versions.

If it's activated go to start/run and type in winver.

Hi,

Click start and type 'winver', then hit <enter>. Note the build number, the
final release is 6000. Anything less will expire in roughly a month.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
The Windows Vista Ultimate x86 installed by using the DVD has been
functioning almost for two months by now.
