PPT 2007 - PPT 2003

I have seen this answered here a while back but have spent the past 2 hours
searching for it. I recently installed PPT 2007 after running PPT2003 for a
couple of years. I still have 2003 on my machine and prefer to use it for
all my work. Now any PPT files/materials are opened initially in 2007. How
can I re-set things back to where everything is opened in 2003 unless I
specify?

In Start->Run, type "D:\Program Files\Microsoft
OfficeXP\Office10\POWERPNT.EXE" /regserver
This will update your path and configurations.

Hi Vindys,

That would be the command to re-register PowerPoint 2002 (XP, Office 10), I
think.

I'd use Search to find POWERPNT.EXE, make sure it's the Office 2003 version (the
path should include "OFFICE11"), note the full path to it and substitute that in
the command line above.

Thanks Steve for correcting. I was just concentrating on basic meaning like
appropriate path. I had to write "c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\PoWERPNT.EXE" /regserver

I've just had the same problem but when inserting the filepath for PPT 2003
it came back with an error message: Cant find C:/Program

Any ideas? I did browse for Office 11/ppt.exe but it doesn't seem to like
the first bit of the file path. I'm on Vista but the file path is identical.
Any ideas?
