PP Novice With Problems. Please Help

I'm a complete novice at PP. I'm making a presentation for use at a
place with a computer I don't understand. So, I decided to make it
into a PP presentation, and let the computer operator run it for me.
In general I found the application very user friendly and easy to make
what I think is a very elegant presentation. But, I've run into some
problems and have some questions.

" I use three video clips during the presentation. When I press
a key to skip a particular clip, the slideshow crashes. If I let the
clip play to its finish it moves to the next slide normally. I've
deleted it and readded it but it still crashes. Any ideas how to fix
this?

" I have the Office 2007 version but the group I'm going to give
this talk to has an older version. I've tried to save the show as a
ppt file so it will work in the older version, but I can't get it to
save this way. It throws up a message about older versions not having
features I used, but let's me continue. It acts like it's saving but
no file is created.

" I tried saving as PDF but the video clips don't play.
Are video clips not included in PDF versions?

" I tried saving it as a pps, but this version throws up
blank/black screens occasionally???

" I can pause a video clip by clicking the mouse. Is there
another way?

How old is their "older version"? I'm confident that 95 will have
significant issues with the PPTs created in 2007. Could you take them your
laptop instead of using their system? It is always a good idea to have a
"known good" presentation method. A laptop with your presentation would
allow you to test before you present.

Clicking on the movie is the best way to pause/unpause it.
