PowerPoint XP files in PowerPoint 2003

I have ALL our presentations done up in PowerPoint XP and working properly.
Many slides have points and subpoints on them which come in on the slideshow
just right in XP. When I open those XP files in 2003 version I have to
double click the first points on the slide to get them to display. Is there
an easy fix for all to make the XP working slideshows work THE SAME in 2003?
I DON'T want to go changing perfectly good presentations just to get them
working in 2003 only to find I have to change them again in the next version.
My fix currently has been to re-install PowerPoint XP for showing our
presentations.

Very disappointed,

Hi

XP shows should run just fine in 2003 so I guess that you have some settings
set different, hard to diagnose from a distance but try using the right arrow
or space instead of mouse and see if that works OK.

Thanks John. I now see that they are NOT done in PowerPoint XP - they are
all done in PowerPoint 2000. The points on the slides that are set to come
in automatically with 0 delay upon changing the slide do not come in without
another click or right arrow. It operates differently from 2000 in BOTH the
XP and the 2003 versions. So right now I am faced with either editing over a
thousand slides or hoping the places we present our material have the older
2000 version of PowerPoint. Unless I can find a quickfix.

Dont have 2000, but I spaked up an old 97 powerpoint box and automatic
animations made with that worked fine in XP and 2003.

If you email me a couple of affected slides I'll have a look. (either to
email in sig if you can see it or via website below)
