Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the right click menu
option to go to a previous slide during a presentation?

If you change the presentation from Presented by a Speaker to Browsed at a
kiosk, the right click menu will not show up in either the Viewer or the
full program. However, if you do this, you will need to set up navigation
buttons to move through the presentation.

To change the presentation from speaker to kiosk, open the presentation in
PowerPoint and do Slide Show--> Set up show. The upper left hand block of
options has the radio buttons you want to change.
