powerpoint to Flash

I have heard that there is a way to convert a powerpoint presentation
into a flash program so that you do not need powerpoint to view it. I
created a presentation that I need to attach to a web page, but not
everyone has powerpoint and I think that flash would also make it
smaller and easier to attach. Can anyone shed some light on the subject
for me?

You could save your presentation as a web page, then all that is required is
your Internet browser. If that does not work for you, then check here

PowerPoint Conversion

I use a piece of software called Impatica that converts PPT presentations into Java applets that can be viewed in a webpage or opened directly.

Free download here but requires purchase after a while.

One cool way to use it is to create slideshows with transitions to meet your size needs and embed them in your web pages.

Hope this helps,

Bill

The I have tried saving it as a web file, the problem is, it is a
pretty complex powerpoint. Lots of animations, timing, and hyperlinks,
things like that. When i save it as a web file, the animations, timing,
auto advances, do not work. Any solutions. Thanks

it would help to save the ppt as webpage when there is text and images with
simple effect, it is suggest that you try some program like Wondershare PPT
to Flash Studio, it preserves the animations, transitions and hyperlinks very
well, should it help you some!
