PowerPoint to DVD

B

Bill

Could someone please tell me if there are any cheaply price (such as free)
programs that will take a PowerPoint v2003 Slide Show and convert it onto
DVD. It's made up with JPEGs and WMA files.

I've been reading that Windows Movie Maker will do this but for some odd
reason or another I can't get Windows Movie Maker to recognize the *.png
files the instructions says to import them into.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
William

Since your PowerPoint presentation is made up with JPEGs and WMA
files, there must be some animations, transitions, what you want is
everything retained as original.

So my suggestion is use some professional tools like Acoolsoft PPT2DVD
to help you burn PowerPoint to DVD, which didn't mess up animations,
transitions and music, and let you set DVD menus, you can control your
presentation on TV with a DVD remote control.

Yea, use Windows movie maker is a free and easy way, but you can not
retain animations transitions and audio track that a really PowerPoint
should have. Your presentation will be a dull thing.

Hi Bill

What happens when you try to import pngs? I'm able to do it here....

Hello Lucy,

It doesn't give me that file type (*.png) to save as in Windows Movie Maker,
it has everything else (*.jpeg, *.gif, etc.). It doesn't have the "Picture
File" selection.

Thanks

Hey William

Now I'm *really* confused (don't worry, it happens all the time). When I
click 'Import Pictures' in Windows Movie Maker it lets me select pretty much
any picture file type (see screen shot here:
http://screencast.com/t/jCwGSw5o). Can you walk me through what you are doing
so I can recreate here? Remember I can't see your screen, only imagine it
from your descriptions...

Good point. I'm using 5.1. Oh wait a minute, it also says it's version
2.1.4026.0

That could be my problem, for my version is v1.1.2427.0. Could you please
tell me where I can get the upgrade? I've install Windows XP Pro. SP2.

Thanks

I was able to download that version without any problems. Thank you so much
for your help with this.

Thanks
