Powerpoint Photo Album Add-in

I am using the Photo Album Add-in to import hundreds of
pictures at one time into Powerpoint 2000. This is
great. I want each picture to fit the full slide except I
want leave a little space at the very bottom for text
box. The Photo Album Add-in has a checkbox for "Captions
below all pictures" but in order to check it you need to
change the picture layout. Changing the picture layout
does not allow the picture to fit the full slide. It
frames the picture and does not allow it to take up all
the space. I do not want resize each picture and leave a
little space at the bottom. thanks for any help.

One possible solution, is to use a filled text box for the caption. Create
the new presentation using Photo album. Since you will need to manually add
the caption below each picture, just insert a rectangle with a solid black
fill; enter some text, center it, and color the text white. Make this your
default shape or just copy and paste it from slide to slide.

You will loose the part of the picture that the text filled box covers with
this method, unless you manually resize the pictures on a one by one basis
(on your run through to add the captions).

Another solution may be to use one of the 3rd-party bulk picture insertion
add-ins. I do not know the abilities or limitations of these, so you will
need to do some research.

Unless someone from the NG has a better idea.
