Does anyone know where i can find lesson plans for powerpoint and excel? i'm
starting private lessons with my first customer this weekend so really need
something asap!

I think your best bet is going to be to find a really good book about
Office. There are quite a few of them out there. I have some handouts and
videos on my class site but no specific lesson plans. Check out:

Seems to me you are rather late at starting the whole process. But I would
suggest having a look on office online there are several demo's and training
sessions there ready to use. They should give you some inspiration.

You need to find out what the customer already knows and what they use the
programmes for, then build a lesson (or rather a coaching) plan around that.
If you know your stuff this can be the most effective form of training for
an individual.
