PowerPoint -Intel created; Mac shown

We need to run a presentation, which will be created on a Dell desktop
computer, and shown on a Mac laptop. My test/draft ppt did run, sort-of, on
the Mac but without any of the original’s animations or custom slide
transitions.
Question: Will packing the presentation, including Microsoft PowerPoint
Viewer, solve the problem and allow the presentation to run on the Mac
identically to how it runs on the Intel-based machine? Or, what do you
suggest?

Unfortunately, the Viewer won't help because the Viewer you are going to
package with it is the Windows version and that won't run on a Mac. There
is a Mac version of the Viewer, but that is likely to be more out of date
than the regular version of PowerPoint that is already on the Mac (if you
got something, the Mac must already have PowerPoint or a PowerPoint
Viewer on it).
