PowerPoint powerpoint hyperlinks

Assigned a hyperlink to an action box then ran the slideshow. No probs. edited the slidde, ran the slideshow again and the hyperlink had changed.

Powerpoint doesn't seem to want to attach the hyperlink permkanently.

running Powerpoint 2003.

any ideas?
