Powerpoint 2003

I can create a new presentation and save it but if I then try to go back to
it later I get a message saying it can't be read. I have a similar issue with
accessing previously created database in Access.

Any ideas to solve this would be much appreciated.

Have you applied all service packs and updates to PPT 2003?

What file type are you saving as by default? (It's not PPT 97-2003 and 95,
is it?)

Are you saving the files to a CD or jump drive? What if you save them
directly to your harddrive? Can you open them then?
