Hello. i recently purchased a new computer and had it built from the tech
where i bought it. but i noticed where the power supply is there is paper
above and below it (The paper your supposed to remove) they removed it from
the fan and the back of the power supply but did not remove it from the top
or bottom. and i am just curious if that makes my power supply to any
electrical risks , static , etc. any help would be appreciated if this is
found to be a problem i will take my computer back and complain .

If this loose paper and not a product sticker, then have it removed as it
come dislodged and cause more problems.

As long as the hole that blows air out is same area as hole that
sucks air in, then power supply airflow is fine. There is nothing
inside the supply to remove. What you describe as paper - is that
required manufacturer stickers?

I would take it back and demand a refund.....I mean YOU actually had to
manually remove the paper yourself and it did not come with any
instructions....my God !!you could've gotten a papercut and had to be rushed
to the hospital for a tetanus shot...all that excitement in your life could
have caused a heart attack................boy !!you sure are lucky you did
not try to peel that packaging off all by yourself.
