I have a Dell PowerEdge 1600SC server, and I want to add a few hard drives
to it, but when I opened up the case I found out that the daisy-chain cable
was missing from the power supply, so I don't have any plugs to power the
hard drive.
The cable looks like this:
<PSU>----<P3- 8 Pin Female>----<8 Pin Male>-------<4 pin>-----<4 pin>----<4
pin>----<4pin>---<4pin>
Does any one know what this part is called actually or better yet the part
number? I tried calling Dell with no help.
If I cant find this part is there any cable that will convert / extend a
regular 4 pin conector to multiple 4 pin connectors so I can connect thiese
hard drives?
Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
