Power Supply Needs

If the difference in price between power supplies (Antec True Power) 0f 330W,
430W, and 550W is all of about $30 between 330 and 550 and about $5 between 430
and 550W ...in order to maintain maximum expandibility with a higher end system
is there any real downside to getting a larger power supply then on eneeds
(other than a slightly higher electric bill? I was originally going to get a
$430 W supply but it seems silly to me not toget the 550 W for $5 more unless
there is a downside.

I'm using a 520 watt ps in my box with about 35 amps on the 12 volt
buss which many smaller psu's don't put out.
If you only need say 50 watts and the unit can give out 1000, all your
using is ABOUT 50 watts, as there is some loss due to the fact that
it's not 100% efficient, less so with cheap power supplies.
