power supply advice

I am purchasing an Intel MoBo (875 chipset), 3.2 Ghz proc, 2 SATA HDs
(used as raid 0), AND my point of the post, an ATI AIW 9800, which I'm
told needs power, is this right and do most new power supplies offer
another wire for the vid card. Also, does the SATA need a certain
kind of plug/adapter? This machine will be used primarily as a video
editing machine, and sometimes a gaming box.
Any advice on a model, or a website that explains it all with current
models.
Thanks

Yes - all higher spec graphics cards are powered directly, but there's
nothing special about the plug, it's a standard 'mini-molex' - the same as
is used to power a floppy drive - all PSUs that I've had have had at least
two. The moral here is - DON'T SKIMP ON THE POWER!! Purchase a known brand
(Enermax, Sparkle, Antec, Q-Tec, Globalwin, Zalman) that will function as
rated, not a dime store generic which, almost certainly, will give you
almost half the rated output.

If it's a SATA board, then they just plug straight in.

Much thanks, that is the last component for my new box.
I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning.......
