Post-processing of an OutputTo file?

Hi,

We have a small Access database which uses the DoCmd.OutputTo function to
store reports. For the flexibility of allowing the user to select the
output file, we are not passing anything in the "OutputFile" parameter.

However, we need to do some post-processing of the generated file (storing
it in a document management system, emailing it etc etc).

The question, then, is how can we get the filename selected by the user when
prompted by the OutputTo function?

Use the code in http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm to open up the
standard Windows File Save dialog, and capture the file name. Pass it to
DoCmd.OutputTo, and then do your post processing.
