Post It Note Gadget - Move - How?

Hi - how do you move the Post It Note Gadget over to the sidebar? It
defaults to the upper right of the desktop just to the left of the sidebar.

Ok - I figured out how to move it.

Next question: How do you write more than one message. The arrows suggest
you can do this.
