After installing XP SP2 on my IIS box, all my asp.net
sites would error out with
"Failure to access metabase".
As suguested I tried using metaacl.vbs to verify/set rw
access. Even after doing so I would get a failure.
I then tried unsuccessfully to set the access to RWSUED
for the ASPNET acount, but it aways went back to RW.
To work around the problem I have to add aspnet to the
administration group (very bad), to all the aspnet
account to read the metabase.
Note, I'm using ASP.2.0 so that might be part of the
problem, but 2.0 system worked UNTIL I installed XP SP2
so I'm thought I'd start here.
Let me know if you have need more info.
