I recently had a problem with quicken where the program was operating
eradically or not at all so i completley uninstalled it and all of its files.
When i re-installed it i began having this problem: In several programs
(quicken, hp printer, games, etc.) the task bar at the top (file, edit, view
etc.) is partially hi-lighted prior to running the curser over them and when
i do click on one of them and move to another selection they stay hi-lighted.
I know this is not the way these should work. They should hi-light when
clicked on and then go back to normal when another one is clicked on. I have
run anti-virus software and anti-spyware and everything else i can think of.
All comes out normal. The twist to this is i loaded the quicken program on
another machine and it works fine.
Otherwise these programs all work like they should. It just makes me think
that something is wrong behind the scene.
Has anyone else had this problem and or know the cure?
Thanks
