Port 80 conflicts

R

royw

I have been using Frontpage 98 for web site maintence.
While trying to incorporate a shopping cart I had to
install PWS from Microsoft. This casused a conflict on
Port 80. I followed instructions from Frontpage by
unistalling port 80. When I tried to change it to port
8080 per instuction I had trouble. I can NOT find
httpd.cnf. (c:FrontPage Webs\server\conf\httpd.cnf)

I have rloaded FrontPages and even reloaded Windows 98.
I sure could use some advice.

Thanks

You need to follow the instructions on the FP98 CD (You have to open the CD) for removing the FP PWS
and then installing the MS PWS.

OH brother I can't tell you how confused PWS and PWS made me years ago!
