Port: 1863

HI!


I am behind a firewall and my administrator blocked the port 1863, the
port MSN Messenger uses.

Is there any chance that i can logon to messenger.

Greetings Erphan,

If the connection to port 1863 can't be established, it actually tries port 80 (the default
web port). If that doesn't work, then you'll get an error message. As such, your
Administrator has probably done more work than simply disable 1863.

More than likely the only way you're going to be able to use Messenger is to use a web-based
client like:

http://www.e-messenger.net
http://www.msn2go.com
