POP3 server reset

I am using Outlook 2000 to send and receive mail from my DSL account and the POP3 server for incoming mail keeps resetting on reboot/login from the correct one (mail.nameofisp.com) to localhost and the account name changes from accountname to accountname/mail.nameofisp.com. This keeps Outlook from receiving incoming mail until I go in and correct the settings. It will be OK until next time I reboot/login. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can get it to stop resetting?

Are you by any chance using Trend PC-cillin antivirus software?

If so, see if disabling the POP3 Scanning option fixes your problem. You might also want to check with your ISP to see if there is another option you can use in your setup to avoid the problem.

That was it! I disabled the POP3 scanning and the issue
has gone away.

Thanks
