I've tried multiple times to get this to work to no avail. Outlook
Leaving my computer on is not a problem, it never gets turned off.
According to the "help" in Outlook 2007 this should work. This is the
very feature I bought Outlook for.
That's the feature you bought Outlook for? I'm pretty sure a number of free
clients allow for this sort of functionality. Heck OE/Windows Mail, which
comes with the OS, has that feature.
That, and, we could spend a number of hours trying to make this work and
failing, or you could take 5 minutes to look at your ISP and set it up and
have it work. As for your computer never being turned off... What about
when the power fails? Does it automatically log in and does Outlook start
automatically? Will it boot up if power cuts and turns back on? Not all
computers do.
But, sure, lets spend the time to get yours to work.
Start with this.
If you start a new message using the template you've created for the rule
and hit send, does it send or does it sit in the outbox?
What's the exact syntax of the error you receive?
