i currently use google's toolbar which blocks most pop-ups.. but i recently
downloaded >something that must have had spyware and am having problems with
my internet >explorer. (slower, receiving pop-ups.) what can i do about
this? i already used spy-bot >s&d and got rid of what appeared...but it
still hasn't helped. anything else?

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
