Pop ups

Help.!!!

My office computer, which is permenatly connected to the
internet, is sufering from pop ups.

I understand that whilst browsing the internet, pops are
practicly unavoidable, but these pop ups are happening
when im not browsing. As soon as the computer boots up in
the morning, 4 pop ups a minute are appearing out of
nowhere and continue to do so . Has my security settings
been changed? how can i stop them ??

Offline popups are an indication of unwanted Spyware guests!

Navigate to the SpyBot S&D section.

Install, reboot, read FAQ and overview, use online update feature to obtain
the
latest reference files, scan for Spyware much like you would with your
pre-installed anti-virus scanner.
Rid your machine of unwanted Spyware pests.

I've been having the exact same problem and it's driving
me crazy. I don't even have to have started a browser
and they keep popping up blank (or so they appear anyway)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
