Pop up window

I allowed a program - autotbar.exec to be added to the
startup programs. Now every time I boot the system, I get
a spyware window on my tool tray that says that the event
has been allowed and makes an entry in the application
log. How do I stop this pop up window and an entry in the
application log?

I am uncertain whether this is a malfunction of Microsoft Antispyware, or
whether some HP-related process is, indeed, attempting to put this in at
each startup.

In Options, Settings, click on Alerts in the left column.

You can then uncheck "Enable allowed alerts" which I think will take care
of the popup.
