pop-up text or mouseover how to

I am trying to create some sort of pop up text box. I want to click on some
text in a document and have a small pop up open such as to give a defintion
to the phrase I clicked on. Another alternative that would be fine is to
mouseover the word and have a pop-up. I was trying to do something with
hyperlink but cannot get it to work the way I want. Any suggestions?

You can accomplish this in 2 ways.

First is to give Comments but will not solve the purpose as you are looking
for Hyperlink as well. However, to Insert the comments:

1. Select the Text you want to have the popup for
2. Click Insert menu - Comments

The Second method is:

1. Select the Text
2. Click Insert Hypherlink or Control + K key as Shortcut
3. In the Insert Hyperlink dialog box you can see a button called Screen Tip
4. Click the button and fill the desire information.
5. Set a link otherwise you will not be allowed to press OK and Screen Tip
will not be displayed. Screen tip will be display when you will move your
mouse over the text.
