Pop-up Survey and Cookie HELP please

I want a customer service survey to pop up when a user enters the home
page. But if the user has voted already, I want the pop-up to, well,
NOT pop up. How can I do this and how do I set a cookie and then
check it. thanks, -Jay

Take a look at J-Bots Pop-up Window / Window Close component and the Cookie
invocation method.

In the popped up page use our Cookie components to set the cookie value so
that the popup does not appear again.

Mike, thanks for the info. I AM using Webs Unlimited J-bots "Floating
window" which is an older version of the "Pop-up Window" you
mentioned, I guess. It has no built in Cookie invocation method. I
also have a bunch of Cookie Componants from Webs Unlimited but can't
figure out how to use them. the help file isn't very good in this
respect. I tried using the J-bots "Set Value" componant but didn't
really understand what I was doing and it didn't prevent me getting
the pop-up again after the first instance. In the "Value Setting"
window, I put the date code in %m/%d/%Y and in the Key Name box I put
the word POPUP. I left the expiration at 30 days and generated the
code on the pop-up page. It didn't work. What am I doing wrong.
