Pop-up preview

I'm not quite sure what it is called, but I want to turn off the small pop-up
prreview box that comes up at the bottom of the screen when a new message
comes in in Outlook 2003. A long time ago, I stopped this action, but I just
had to install Outlook Connector and that process must have reset something
to cause this to happen again. Any help would be appreciated. BTW-Outlook
connector seems to work OK for me with Hotmail in Outlook.

It's called the "New Mail Desktop Alert" but you might also find people
refer to it as "The Toast".

Anyway, you can disable it via;
Tools-> Options-> button E-mail Options...-> button Advanced E-mail
Options...-> option: Display a New Mail Desktop Alert

A shortcut to this option can also be found by right clicking the Outlook
icon in the Notification Area and deselect "Show New Mail Desktop Alert".
