Is there a single application of a pop up blocker that can be installed
without toolbar?

www.panicware.com They have a free version even. Though you can update IE
and use that and then adjust the settings of the pop-up blocker (tools >
pop-up blocker > settings) and not have a warning/notification bar if that's
what you're asking.

What Im looking for is a pop-up blocker that I can place in existing browser
rather than having another utility.

12.1 lcd screen on notebook as well do not require additional programs
constantly running to see if it needs updates.

Under your options in IE just disable scripting for the internet zone? Then
manage the sites using the trusted zone for sites you want to allow
scripting. Updating IE to the current version should give you a popup
blocker if you have XP SP2.

Dont need XP.

Uninstalled and went with Google. Use their search anyway.

Thanks for looking into this inquiry though.
