Policy to set a Binary Value

I have found numerous references to the fact Group Policies can't be used to
set a registry value of type REG_BINARY. Other than using a startup script
and using regini.exe does anyone have any other suggestions?

Brendon,

What is it you're trying to do? I've got lots of interesting ideas and
resources at hand. Give me an idea of what you want to do, and I'll see
what we can come up with.

VNC stores its password as a REG_BINARY value. I have already prepped an
..adm file with all the other settings I need but the password is the one
thing I can't set.

We currently use 3 different VNC passwords in the organization and it would
be useful to set this via GPO - also it would then be very easy to change
any of these passwords later on.

I am pretty clued up on scripting and we do already use this method but GPO
would just be neater and more organized.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Brendon
