pocket excel convert to excel

I had an ipaq and it crashed, meanwhile my home system
also crashed, I bought a new home system and a used palm
off ebay, well I had a lot of address on my SanDisk it is
128mb I can put the disk it my new system and locate the
information (many lost address!!)but when I try to open
the pocket excel files it will not convert them??? The
pocket word files I had all convert fine...
Last ditch effort to regain lost of much needed data...
Any one who might had an idea i'm all ears
