Hello

I have a PNY FX 5950 Ultra 256 mb

I'm interested in overclocking the card if its possible, and if it's worth
doing !!
Is there any advice / utilities that anyone can advise on please?

Being the ultra already you might want to just try
"coolbits" (google search it). The card will throttle back
if it's overheating or clock speed is too high per the GPU
voltage so be sure to do strenuous benchmarks at the higher
clock speed... beyond a certain point your performance will
go down due to the throttling unless you improve cooling and
raise the GPU voltage. Google search for FX5900, FX5950,
FX5900XT (any/all of those) vmod if you wanted to modify the
card, though it's still going to be struggling with DX9 on
newer games, might be as well off to just enjoy it or resell
while it retains highest value.
