Plug-in HELP needed!

Ryka

I downloaded (from Adobe) Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and when I try to view a .pdf
document, I am notified that I have an Invalid Plug-in. I checked the Adobe
plug-in from Tools and it is enabled. I Repaired the Adobe Reader from
Programs in the Control Panel. After 3 attempts to re-download and
re-install Adobe Reader and no success, I need help. This is a document I
MUST download ASAP. Please help me to resolve this problem. Thanks.

Hello.. the best way is to do this (this is what I do)

go to adobe reader EDIT> PREFERENCES> look for INTERNET on the left list of
times

click on that and disable the PDF in Browser.. let Adobe do its setup
thing...

then when you click a pdf link you will be promted to download it instead of
viewing it in the browser

You will be able to download it and then open it from your hard disk.

thats 100 times better in my opinion..

do this now that you are in a hurry. then we can see how we can fix adobe if
you want to keep viewing pdfs in the browser...

Adobe, but..... Foxit is my default now! Thanks you for your help!!
