I have a db that I split there are two users working on it and then got an
error message saying something like delete record. When you click ok all my
fields in the form have symbols and they won't go away. I checked the back
end db and rows are all there. I then opened the front end db and it open
okay until you click somehwere and get the same error message. Can you
please help me figure this out. Thank you

In the back end db did you scroll down the table viewing all the
records?

See the Damaged records within tables section in the To retrieve your

Well, if you can recreate the error message that easily, you should be able
to tell us what it says, shouldn't you?

You never know, it might make the difference between getting an answer and
getting no answer. It might even improve the quality of the answer.

The exact error message is as follows, "Record is Deleted" there are only two
options available with this error message "OK" or "HELP". Help says to
select next record. Ok just makes the message go away until something else
is selected and then the error message comes back. I need help with this as
this is a time sensitive project. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

It's just possible that your front end isn't pointed where you think
it is. With the front end running open Tools|Addins|Linked Table
Manager. Select all and then check the b ox that says "Ask me". It
will then open a dialogue box that lets you navigate to the correct
back end.
