Please Someone help! Internet Explorer cannot open

Can anyone tell me how to solve this I.E 6.0 problem.
Whenever I am surfing the internet I will randomly get a
pop up message that says "Internet Explorer cannot open
the Internet site http://www.websitename.com Operation
aborted".
The wierd thing is that the website does load. To get rid
of the message I hit the ok button and it then takes me to
the usual "Page cannot be displayed" message. I hit the
refresh button and the website will load fine with no
error message. Like I said it is very random. It's a
very annoying problem. Please help.

Hi Exactly the problem I have. Someone sent me this reply
with URL'S, I haven't been able to try it yet as I don't
fully understand..not very up on the workings of
computers..can you figure it? if so and it works please
let me know

This symptom is not a error the Internet was actually designed to time out
if the site being called does not respond in a certain time or has a
transmission error. Your response to do a retry is the correct response. If
the problem is consistent with a particular site try and let them know there
is a problem.
The timeout can also occur if the network path from your system to the site
is very busy.
