Even thought the software says that there is no errors on the drive somtimes the software can miss some and windows finds them and this could be why your computer keeps restarting.

I did think in the beginning that the hard drive wasnt right but when the software said different I wasnt sure. I will carry on and swap out to a test drive and prepare the hitachi to be sent back for replacement.

This could be the harddrive and windows does,nt give a good report.


Try a other harddrive if you can.
