I have a laptop that has Windows XP. It is not connected to the internet. I need load a practice disk for the GRE. When I try to setup the disk the following message appears.
16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

There is no problem with the disk. It loaded on my professor's computer just find. This same problem has happened with other disks that I have tried to load in the past year or so. I really need to figure out how to load this disk.
Please help.
Thanks
