Please Help !

I seem to have picked something up that is a bugger to remove.
It as disabled my virus scanner (AVG) and anytime I try and search for
another, or an online scan it closes windows explorer. It also wont allow me
to open regedit; and it hides all the processes in task manager.

I cannot even open this newsgroup as it closes my news client down, so I am
posting this blind.

It sounds like you are infected with an Agobot variant. First thing you
need to do is run Windows Update and install every hotfix available. Then
you need to find a way to kill the virus processes, which is going to be
tricky, but I've been able to write custom scripts that do it.
