PLEASE HELP with this .pst file!

M. Garcia

I made a CD with a copy of a large .pst file with a Personal directory with
multiple sub-directories to work at home, however, I'm unable to configue
Outlook 2007 due to Microsoft Exchange Server not "being available."

I've tried to use different options including HTTP, IMAP and the most
commonly recommended POP3, without success.

I installed the Microsoft Exchange Server yesterday, re-started the whole
system but still, the same message: Outlook cannot log on because the
connection to the server is unavailable. Therefore, it closes and does not
allow me to map the file I need to open and work with.

Is there anybody who can help?

In advance, for your help, I thank you.

Did you copy this pst onto your desktop from a CD?

If so, then select the properties of the file and turn off the
Read Only check mark. To select the properties, just
right click the file and select "Properties".
