Please help with POP3 Configuration

I have an email/hosting account with Registerfly.com. I set up Outlook
Express and it works just fine. However, I cannot make Outlook work. When
I set it up precisely the same as OE, the test message fails. I get this
response:

The specified server was found, but there was no response
from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL
information are correct. To access these
settings...etc.

I called Registerfly and they assure me the settings for Outlook are the
same as OE, and it stands to reason (?) that this is the case. I have tried
setting this up on 3 different computers, all running XP, using 3 version of
Outlook: 2000, 2002 (XP), and 2003. The results are always the identical.
And in each case OE on the same machine works fine.

Can anyone help?

thank you,

jm

Yes. In fact, I've tried virtually every possible option and combination,
even if it appeared to contradict the OE settings, all to no avail. It's
really strange.
