PLEASE HELP WITH MY COUNTER STRIKE GAME

I have counter strike source and it was working fine until it did a steam
undate and my anti virus had to approve steam again and then after that, when
i tried to open my cs it opened then went to a black screen for 5 seconds and
then shut down and went back to my desktop screen. WHY DOES IT DO THIS AND
HOW DO I FIX IT???!!!!!

To see if your security software is at fault, disable it for a minute and try to launch
the game; if the game launches then you will just need to remove and readd the games
from the permitted applications list of your Antivirus / Firewall software.

Some firewalls leave a componant running even when you disable them. To run
a test you need to uninstall your firewall run the game then reinstall after
you have tested the game.
