I just put n three DV Tapes worth of Christmas stuff (whew!) and pieced
together music, photos and videos in the MOVIE MAKER. I have used this
program for about two years and have enver had a problem - but now I do and
can't figure it out !!

I have plenty of HDD Space, so I don't think that is a factor. I have tried
the best and worst compression, both do not save audio. I have
uncheck/checked INTERVIDEO option in the TOOLS / OPTIONS drop down menu.
Restarted my computer numerous times ... but to no avail - PLEASE ASSIST ME
IF POSSIBLE - I am going to another region soon with family and I would like
to have this as a VCD or DVD if possible .. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH ...
and have a very prosperous New Year ! Dave W

windows media encoder is a stand alone programme, you'd need to save your
movie as a dv-avi file to import into WME to get it to do anything.
Can we get a few questions answered first?
Do you have audio on the movie maker timeline?
What file types are you using in your movie project?
Can you save it to a dv-avi file?
If so, will it play in WMP with audio?
What programme are you using to encode the mpeg file for the vcd or dvd?
