I can receive emails - but not send!
When I send I receive the following error message/email.
"550 connection denied after dictionary attack"
It is only on the connection.
On other connections I can send and receive just fine!

Does anyone have a clue?

1) What is dictionary attack?

It is an attempt to guess a password. A client sends a particluar username
to the server, specifying passwords various passwords, one right after the
other, in an attempt to stumble upon the correct one. Called a "dictionary"
attack because the passwords come from a list of possible passwords, lke a
dictionary contains lists of words.
2) Who attacked me? Why?

No way to tell.
3) What does my ISP have to do with it?

It was your account on your ISP that was attacked. SOmeone was trying to
guess your password.
4) How will they fix it?

They disabled your account, at least for email, and must reenable it.
