Please Help: Broadband probs after Blaster and Service Pack 4???

X

I have a PC that was infected with Blaster running Windows2000. After
taking the steps to kill the worm, I ran windows update and downloaded
all updates including SP4. Now though my internet connection is
practically at a standstill for all apps. The PC shares a connection
with a Playstation 2 thru a 3Com hub. The Playstation connection has
no problems and my ISP says the connection is strong, so something
must have been corrupted but I don't know what.

Has anyone seen this or can offer a solution?

Thanks xper

A similar problem is also happening to me. I'm running
Windows 2000 Server and applied SP4 to it yesterday (up to
this point it had been running fine). Now I notice that
the computer takes _ages_ to get to the logon screen
("Preparing Network Connections" stays on the screen for a
long time), and Internet Explorer takes ages to load any
URL I type (but it's fine once I get into the first page
of a website). If anyone has any solution to this I'd be
very grateful!

Thanks

Michael
