Hi,

my windows 2000 server would like to boot. it´s no new hardware. i get the
blue screen 0x0000007b (0xeb81f84c, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE since booting.

i build the harddisc already to another pc but it´s the same blue screen.

there are two harddisc´s in software raid level 1. so i could clone the with
ghost or anything else.

i build the harddisc already in another windows xp cd but i could get on the
disc. the os called you have to import the volume.

i don´t think both hdd get´s a physical error.

in the kb i don´t find anything good for the problem.

anyone a goog idea for me???

thx a lot

I had the same problem when ghosting an image to other machines.

The reason is that on my model machine the IDE driver was a specific PNP
driver that was updated using windowsupdate.microsoft.com. This changed the
IDE driver from a generic driver to an Intel one. Since then, I rebuilt the
model machine and left the generic IDE driver installed, ghosted the machine
and hey presto no error.

It would appear that your driver loaded in device manager for the drives is
not compatible in the other machine. Unless you have an identical system
you need to find a common genetic driver for both.

Hope this helps

You might probably have a mass storage device for which there is no
driver available in the base W2K CD. During setup press F6 and provide the
floppy that has the driver for the mass storage device.

boot to server CD
recovery console...FROM CD!
hit F6 if you need to add drivers
run checkdisk

it didn´t work, because the recovry console didn´t find the volumes, because
there were two volumes in software raid1.

so how can i get on the datas on the volumes without backup recovery?
